Arcade System - All Change Here Please, This Is the End Of The Line!

As some of you will be aware, the TF arcade has been suffering from a number of well documented bugs and problems.

I have sought fixes from the developer for a variety of these issues, but it's been pretty much like banging a head against a brickwall and in the last month he has gone AWOL completely, leaving people completely up a certain creek without a paddle.

I have over the last few days, done some severe testing of games, the arcade and the various features of the arcade to try and rectify the various problems myself, but they are simply too numerous to deal with in a satisfatory manner. that added together with the complete lacking of features that this arcade version offers in comparison to the previous version we were running, has brought me to a decision...

During the course of today, the arcade will go offline, I will then completely strip it down and remove that version and will replace it with something which I am very much hoping will be much better and much more functional.

I apologise to everyone for all the effort people have put into their gaming to secure high scores over time, but as a result all scores will go along with this arcade version. Meaning a completely fresh start for everyone.

However, on a major upside... When the new arcade returns at some point today, there will be 1500+ games available right from the off.

Good i didn't had much time to beat some highscores on my favourite games.

I hope everything will go well with installing the other version. So we can start battling for titles again in the old and new games

Brief update:

The old arcade has now been removed and the new version installed.

It is visible to users, however while under testing and tweaking, no games will be playable.

I have roughly 2,200 games in total to add, so it could take a while adding them all.

I Have some design features to tweak and make pretty as well, but that is just visual stuff.

So far the tests have gone well.

New features include a tournament system, much better leaderboards, stats and the likes and various other things.

It will beavailable again at some stage today, but I wouldn't like to give a time scale, as it is basically going to be down until I am happy with it.
