Total Format Scheduled Maintainance and Downtime

It has been brought to Total Formats attention through our server hosts that they are planning on some server upgrades in the next couple of days, this will result in a short period of downtime for Total Format.

Please read the following quote to see what they have told us:

Please be aware that the migration of your hosting platform to the new environment will be performed between 28th and 29th Feb. 2008, from 11pm to 5am. During this period, your website / server will be temporarily unavailable for approx. 15 minutes. This migration has been planned to take place around midnight in order to avoid undermining your site's services.
Enhancements with the Upgrade

Following the platform upgrade, newer versions of supported scripting and programming languages will be made available – Perl, Python and Ruby. Your old scripts shall continue to run properly as they are downward and upward compatible. However, you will be able to use the new functionalities available in the latest versions of the programming and scripting languages.

So as you can see, this should will only be for around 15 minutes and should interfere with your surfing of TF to a minimum due to the time planned for the work.

Sorry for this inconvenience, but this is essential work and out of our hands, so we hope you will understand the reason for this downtime.

Ok, it appears that my hosts have completed their work now.

I wish they'd pre-warned me that it would break things though, cause it's just had me frantic trying to fix all the weird stuff that their fiddling about caused.

Anyhoo, if you noticed the forum unavailable or broken images or anything else a little less than normal, it should all be fixed now thanks to some rather fast coding and tweaking on my part.

If you do find any major problems or any problems for that matter, please let me know so I can get em fixed asap.
