was just viewing a site to see if the latest naruto manga was out yet n i noticed a feature anime review....called Beck
reading the story its not something i'd normally wotch, however it does interest me and i was wondering if anyone's seen or read about it? heres the story: Series Synopsis: Koyuki is a downcast 14 year old who feels disconnected from life with a great talent for singing and the guitar. Socially unpopular and lacking confidence, he takes some solace in his fandom of fluffy J-Pop. However, when he saves a strange dog from a group of cruel young bullies, his life changes forever. The encounter causes him to meet a genius guitarist named Ryuunosuke, and is introduced to the glories of the world famous rock band Dying Breed. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Watched the first episode last night and it seems like it might be pretty good. I'd always avoided watching it, largely out of a fear that the music would simply be terrible, but after a friend vouching for it I gave it a go.
I'm still not so sure I'm going to love it. Predicting sappy teen dreams drama ahead and the rock not living up to the little classic rock bubble that I live in. It has English but the pseudo-American accents aren't half as bad as others I've heard and the animation's pretty sharp. I'm going to stick with it. |
