this is a brand new anime and looks stunning. not for children, i think it's been rated 18+ . ive currently only wotched the 1st episode, but i shall be wotching the others very shortly (think there's 13 of them) .

anyways heres a brief on the storyline:

n a world where humans and robots live together, there exists a domed city named "Romdeau". Under full management control, it is a paradise which does not need feelings. But this utopian landscape is soon broken by a series of mystifying murders. Real Mayar, a female inspector from the Citizen Information Board, is tasked to solve the murder cases. As she digs deeper, she is soon entangled into the mystery of the "Awakening", which will change her life, and the lives living in Romdeau... forever.

I've seen up to episode 21 and I love it. I wouldn't have said it was worthy of an 18 rating... maybe not even a 15. Haha, they don't rate shows based on whether or not they'll bore kids.

In places it seema very cleverly written and in others... it feels like every other show that thinks blatantly obfuscating the plot and dressing it up with a few philosphical book readings makes it mature. I kind of felt some of the action sequences were badly directed too and it was hard to follow what was happening. Pino rocks.

Still, I'd reccomend it to anybody who doesn't mind their anime slow and quiet. Heh, just be sure that you have a dark room and a big screen with a good contrast ratio before starting (DARK ANIME SHURE IS DARK).
