Well after the much discussion on here about it I thought id see what all teh hype was about.

Currently downloading 22gb compilation =P 78% done >_< still 1st episode was 100%. Watched it last night and I must admit it does seem rather good.

Ive always been into manga's/animes and Dragonball Z and all that, gotta love the fighting .

The first episode doesnt overly go into much background/history or any major fight scenes but it has certainyl grabbed my attention and wetted my appeite for more. Can wait to see the rest.

What epsiode is the series currently up to btw? Im downloading upto episode 152 at the mo.

japanese ep is up to 187, but at the mo there's been 50 fillers so far......(side storys) which r pretty crappy. i love naruto and think it's one of the best anime series ive seen but these fillers r doing my head in, although it should get onto the next season pretty soon.

however i have to say ive decided to cheat as late and view the naruto manga which is a season ahead of the anime coz it doesnt include the fillers just the main storyline and im absolutely loving it again lol.

im sure you'll get stuck right into naruto, the first 125 episodes or so r just amazing!

Yeah the fillers are quite annoying, They were supose to end at episode 184 but i guess the writers have better things to do

Been meaning to check this out for awhile the reason i haven't is cause of the fillers. I've been told they drag on far to long which is killing it for alot of fans. I know afew people who have stopped watching it because of the fillers taking so long. Enough of the fillers though is the story itself any good?.

Yeah its pretty good I prefer the original storyline in Bleach though ( The new Bountu stuff is boring )

The films are pretty much total spin-offs, They dont intertwine with the storyline at all ( Especially the second film, Wont mention why ofc ).

But I think the first movie was released around the 130th episode and the second film around the 180th.

Fillers dont start till ep 137 so till then its all gold

So thats 50 fillers so far almost a whole years worth and no sign of ending.

On the other hand the manga is fantastic at the moment

If you check out narutofan.com, the date for the 1st film is on there. The films don't spoil anything apart from some jutsus but if that doesn't bother you, watch them.

I stopped watching Naruto after 13 eps of filler -_- Bleach ftw, until I get to the filler arcs I guess, Bleach filler is apparently going to last longer than Naruto filler, and with Fate/Stay night nearly finished I think I'm going to cry.

Yeah but at least the bleach fillers are better then the naruto fillers.

Though the do ruin the continuity of the manga story line more.

Just remember after episode 136 its just fillers which are totally crap

On oct 5 their is to be a 90 min ep of Kakashi Gaiden so the fillers are then over!!!
