Recent Anime Picks

Just thought I'd share some of the stuff I'd been watching recently.

Full Metal Panic - The story of teen mercenaries (one in particular) having to adapt to civillian life for a particular mission. Some light comedic relief, but mostly a serious affair. Plenty of war philosophy in it too, hits home quite hard at times with recent events.

Full Metal Alchemist - Not the sequel to the previous, but the same art style. Set in medieval time-ish, two brothers try to put right a sin against nature they committed in the name of family. Not too far into this myself, but some quite... Disturbing moments in it, is the only description I can give. Usual gag relief in it too.

Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu - True sequel to FMP, mostly just comedy events developing the relationship between Kaname & Sagara.

Onegai Teacher - Usual boy meets alien girl show. Still quite touching though. Mmmm cheesecake.

Onegai Twins - Same as above, with a younger cast and more angst

Naruto - Noticed a few people on the forum sporting Naruto/Kakashi avatars and banners My girlfriend introduced me to it while she was here, and I've now gone through all 68 episodes and eagerly await each week's new one. The soundtrack is pure This is the kinda **** we need on Toonami, no more ****ing Dragonball! Ninja school... Should have sent me there instead of the crap excuse we have for education in my area

Why no R2 (decent) anime DVDs? TIS A CRIME!

Naruto is the shiizzznat.

Can't wait for thurs. release, Oro vs. the 3rd should be awesome, same with the sand guy vs. the Chuunin exam instructor ( iforget his name tooth pick guy). Also i found out a couple future fights during the invasion i won't say cuz of spoilers.

But one thing i rlly wanna know is if they bring the frog boss to fight those snakes.

Well after being privileged to watch Spirited Away i'm slowly getting into anime.

Currently just finished 6th Evangelion disc And omg is it heating up ^^.

Onegai teacher is quite good, alright backgrounds with an alright love story (with funny twists).
But to be recomended? Naaaa

Naruto is amazing, and is one of only few anime series which compete to the level of quality and popularity to the DBZ series. I love it and even if your not into anime i suggest you go pick it up, you dunno what you missing in this series.

Im thinking about reading the Naruto manga cuz i hate waiting 1 week each eps.

But then when i finish where the manga stops i'll be waiting again. Argh complications


Anyone ever watch Berserk or read the manga?

ghost in the shell: stand alone complex.
the series for the ghost in the shell movie, uses the same cast + a few more, but sort of goes from a diffrent sort of path, where you know who doesnt you know what
but is is very good and i would reccomend it

NARUTO!! as i type ep 28 is downloading very eager to watch more of the 2nd chuunin exam test, it is a very very good anime =D and im even going to get the jap import of the naruto game for gamecube soon XD

Ive seen a abit from the gamecube game, it looks pretty cool u can use all the jutsu's n stuff in it. Saw a clip of Zabuza using one, looked pretty cool

apparently theres loads of charaters for it, and up to 4 player, iv seen a clip of kakashi and sakura fighting, sakuras super attack thing uses inner sakura which is quite funny, and i hear if you use kakashi's super (sharingan) he will copy her, and inner kakashi is really funny =D

evangelion is a truely amazing anime. be sure wot wotch the films after uve seen the series, death n rebirth and the death of evangelion

Evangelion is a head**** (but my silver NERV necklace is t3h secktz), Trigun is awesome and Nadesico made me laugh and cry.
