Although i've not found any confirmation that Age of Athiria has indeed ceased to be, there is nothing written anywhere to indicate otherwise.

A message has been sent to someone within the company behind the game that can hopefully put our minds to rest one way or another with this game.

I think it will be a shame to see it gone if it is, as it was a game that I saw as having promise.

I'll post the results of my communication here should I recieve a reply, otherwise I will have to presume the worst and call in the undertakers.

Ok, i've been given an update and for anyone that has been watching this game, it's great news... Here is what Derek Licciardi, the president of Elysian Productions had to say:

It is our intention to complete and publish this game. While the information is somewhat dated, the concept and the idea is still ahead of its time. I spent time Wednesday networking with local VC looking for funding so we're still pursuing the game and we remain hopefull to getting it published.

So whilst it may not be moving at the same speed as the massive budget games, it is most definately not a dead project.
