Going from Level 1 to 15
What’s the best way to advance in the game quickly? There are many ways but we spoke to one experienced player and he offered a small but effective guide for all new comers to A3. Here's what he's got to say...
First things first, you’ll need to have familiarized yourself with the controls and views before making sense out of what you’re going to read below.
DO COMPLETE THE FIRST QUEST! You will not be able to start this quest again anywhere if you quit it. The beginning quests mainly consist of NPC searches in town which is relatively safe for a new character and lets you familiarize yourself with where to buy what. Furthermore, you can get experience points out of it and the rewards are very useful! Simply follow the instructions on your quest log (press “q” to activate the quest log) and you will complete it in no time.
Hunt the monsters right outside town for the first few levels until level 10. Don’t venture out too far yet and stay in the vicinity where the monster Memora spawns. Just to be safe and efficient, you could also just hunt Memora until level 10.
Always make sure that your character is in a healthy condition. If you have no woons (in game currency) to purchase health potions; Use the healer merchants in town to heal you for free.
Your pet Shue also uses health potions to regenerate its hit points, therefore buy some health potions for your Shue when you get the chance. (Press number 1 to heal yourself, 2 to restore your mana, 3 to heal your Shue).
For every death of your Shue you’ll require a Shue Resurrection Potion to resurrect it. Buy some food for your Shue from the healers too. Each portion cost only 50 woonz and you’ll be able to feed your Shue for a week.
Once you have more than 15,000 woonz, purchase a new Shue from the Shue merchant in town. Your basic Shue will not give you any properties even if you increase its level. Purchase a Shue that has properties that will enhance your game character.
Keep visiting the various merchants in town for quests. Quests give good experience, items, and also “Lore Points”. Lore points will prove to be very useful later in the game.
When you are level 10 to 11, you will more or less be ready to advance to the next map. Look to your minimap and you will notice a green circle. The green circle indicates the entrance to the next map. But before you go, buy some town portal scrolls, just in case you lose your way.
After level 11, you will be able to be killed by other players if you are not careful. Therefore, travel in groups, or seek protection from other higher level players in the game before you go exploring. But if you are feeling lucky and powerful, you can try venturing out alone. But do not say we did not warn you."
