Im sure its not amazing by an stretch of the imagination, but im a fan of seagate drives and it seems quite good for the money. My OS drive is a 3 year old 250gb version, very similar drive. Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (ST3500418AS)

All i really wanted was some extra storage space so speeds not important, although ill probably install windows 7 on it.
