Default Meet The Spartans

This film is a parody of The 300 in the tradition of Hot Shots, Scary Movie and that sort of thing.
It is probably best if you have seen The 300, but I don't think it is crucial. Some of the jokes are properly funny on their own, like the constant implication that the Spartans are raging homosexuals, and the parodies of CGI in movies etc.
Carmen Electra is in it, and she is pushing on these days, I predict it will be the last film in which she is so damn hot. But she is undeniably hot in this.

The main guy Leonidas does the weird Scottish voice quite well, and even Azamat Bagatov turns up playing Xerxes. If you don't know who he is, watch Borat when you return to earth.
Quite a few of the jokes are obviously aimed at Yanks because I didn't get some, like stuff about Pop Idol and Lindsey Lohan. I guess if you read Heat or the Sun then you are probably low enough IQ to get those bits.

It's a stupid and daft film, fairly low budget, but actually quite funny in places. If you ever get offended by crude humour, then probably avoid it. But some of the references are subtle and surprisingly sophisticated.

I have no idea who this film is aimed at, there is virtually no narrative and a lot of the jokes will go over the heads of the idiots who understand the pop culture references, but I laughed a few times. And that is rare. And Carmen is hawt, don't believe me? Check out her aerobic striptease exercise video thing that has suddenly resurfaced on torrents due to this Spartans film.
