Default Wii email question

I have scoured the interweb this morning in search of answers…..
But I have not found any.. not a sausage!

I have successfully sent my Wii a email with a pic attached, however, there is a Maximum e-mail size that my Wii will handle.

My Post Master at home and work have returned a few e-mails, so through trial and error I have identified this limit to be anything more than about 2meg.

“Requested mail action aborted: exceeded storage allocation.”

I do not have an SD card, and I was wondering is this a limitation caused by not having one? or is it just a general limitation?

Does anyone know what the actual limit is?

Additionally can I send more than 1 pic attached to a post (so long as they are below the maximum permitted size) or is that a limitation?
