Hot on the heels of Virtua Fighter 5's official announcment for Xbox 360 and rumours of a 360 version of Metal Gear Solid 4, gossip that another PS3 title - in this case beat-'em-up Tekken 6 - is Xbox 360-bound has hit the 'net.
The rumours are attributed to an "IGN insider source" - supposedly the same chap who broke the news of Virtua Fighter 5's 360 conversion - reporting that Namco is currently working on both PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Tekken 6 to be released this winter.
When we reached for the CVG news phone Namco was unfortunately unavailable for comment, but following the likes of Assassin's Creed and many other previously PS3-only titles' move into multi-platform, we wouldn't be surprised if Namco's much-anticipated fighter ended up on Xbox 360 as well.

File it as a rumour for now, but we'll let you know when Namco confirms or denies the news in an official statement.

Well i bet no one is suprised that this rumour has started.
tbh i wouldnt be all that suprised at it being true either.
My thinking is that while not worried about Japanese sales as PS3's are like gold dust there, Namco will have seen the problems with PS3 sales in America and are concerned so will want to put it on the number 1 USA next gen console the 360.
But this is Sony's flag ship title and they will want to keep it.
Ken who let the other big name title slip is out, so hopefully Kaz will be more all the ball in these matters.
Finally even with the slow down in American sales at the moment, the PS3 has sold quite a bit more then the 360 had at launch even without Europe. So by winter one would expect its unit sold number to be pritty good and enough for a profit on this very popular game. (even more so if Sony pay alot to keep it)
Thats my thinking anyway.
If this were to slip i think Soul Calibur will defo be multi platform.
