The figures don't sound too bad, will probably sell alot this Christmas without the PS3 to contend with them.
As for the low shipped amount during the summer its usually a quiet period for sales (people saving for Christmas) so thats possibly the reason for only having shipped 1m since July.
Its nice to see the 360 doing quite well and having a second Christmas to itself without the PS3 will be a massive boost to it, the only down side to the 360 is its owned by Microsoft
I don't think Microsoft have considered the new Nintendo console as a competitor to be honest, but with games like Zelda and Mario in the works I can see loads of people getting one instead of a 360 especially for younger kids (of course the Zelda and Mario games must be in the same league that they were when released on the N64! And not like thoes released for the GC

).
