2MoonsDesigned by legendary designer David Perry - the founder of Shiny Entertainment - whose resume includes Earthworm Jim and Enter the Matrix, 2Moons promises to be the most violent MMORPG ever made. Harv has a Bagi Warrior, Vicious Summoner and Inca Magician, is playing the summoner the most atm, I have a Segnale.
Its a laugh, and there is no swear filter, and you don't drop if you die, and there seems to be a lot more adults (aged for 17+) even though you can't be sure of that, but I like it. Very mir like imo.
It seems quite good, the graphics are nice and smooth, no bugs/crashes as of yet, and yes some of the dialogue is quite adult and it's funny, although I think the swearing is overdone.
Quite a lot of people playing too, by the looks of it.
I'm level 16 now, ran out of quests to do, so I'm grinding in Denebe.
Shame there's not more quests...not a massive fan of grinding after Mir lol.
o.O you shouldn't have run out of quests to do, or do you mean just for your level. Anyway they have a full quest list on the site Quests
I'm a pantsy lvl 18 but all harvs chars are lvl 18-25, his bagi being the highest atm, but the summoner levels pretty quickly. I really like it, our parties are TrueRespect parties and leveling in a group is great. We tend to go on Trieste (sp?) and switch servers to the quietest one we can find in the area we want to hunt. You're right about the swearing, it is a little OTT and sadly I can't see a way to turn off the shout text yet Only been pked once which was amusing as I sat and said to harv "how the feck do I fight back" and then I was dead lol, but generally it seems ok, however I'm sure the prats you get on all mmorpgs will appear soon enough. Glad there are loads of servers to try and avoid them on.
I'm still pretty crap at it just now, but it seems great for nowt!
OK I'm level 26 now and have actually properly ran out of quests Next one is at 28 or 30 IIRC
I have some pretty cool Azure Knight stuff for levels 1-20 if anyone is playing this and wants it, you can have it, just post here. Noble Stiletto, Wolf Helm with a crapload of HP, and some other added-stat swords.
I like this game but I can't help feeling that it is dominated by people who know exactly what to do/where to go from the Korean version, open beta has only been up for a few weeks and already I've seen people with really high level gear and maximum stones in their weapons. Think someone in Mir being level 35 with flaming sword after a month or something.
It also doesn't seem very social, at least not in the towns/server I've been in. Nobody really talks or shouts much, there is no sense of adventure because of what I said about people knowing what to do and stuff. I don't necessarily like towns being full of chatter and spam messages, but if nobody's gonna try and socialise at all it may aswell be an offline game like Dungeon Seige or Diablo.
One very good feature is the 'shop' ability, rather than hanging around shouting what you're selling, you can just set prices for certain items, go AFK and then people can check your items and buy them if they want. Not played an MMO in ages so this kind of feature is probably old news by now.
I think I will carry on playing until I get the next sword (30) and then see if I can be bothered to carry on.
We've had a few nights off as harv has had a cold. My segnale is lvl 21 now and seems to be a target for pkers, dunno why, but oh well lol
You tried any guilds yet as there seems to be hundreds of them? I find that swapping between the 2 main servers Trieste does seem more friendly than Abbadon as there seems to be more Euro players on rather than the hardcore korean gamers. There does seem to be server overkill tho, but in some ways is good but like you said, it makes it more like an offline game. But to be utterly honest I only play cos Harv likes it, otherwise I probably wouldn't bother. Online games seem to have a way of taking over.
Need to get Drag and her hubby on it, and to bump into Stinkywitch and Whimp, then we'd have a right giggle
There was a double EXP event tonight from 10pm-midnight, and apparently it will be repeated for 3 more Sundays.
Level 37 now, heh.
grats Where do you go leveling? Getting a bit bored with leveling a bit but had a laugh in chat on Asray last night with the locals. Up to a slow lvl 24
Up til 34 I killed Helioms in Requies or grouped in Heiharp. Some quests give big exp bonuses as well so its worth doing them.
At 34 you can get into an instance dungeon in Requies called Nunvice where enemies give 1000-4000 exp.
Costs 10k to get in but you have 30 mins during which you can easily make loads of exp. You also make the 10k DIL back + more and I already got some nice gems as well. Near the end of the dungeon if you manage to kill these two groups of monsters you get a 50,000 exp bonus. After that there is an optional boss but it's well hard...lol
Went from 34 to 39 in that dungeon alone last night .
The quests are getting more numerous now, in fact I'm behind on them..
i decided to d/l the game to give it a go, anyway im having a launching problem....i click start on the webpage or click the icon on the desktop and all i get is the window coming up and it updates everything normally but when i press start it just closes down and doesnt do anything, any ideas?

hmmmm unfortunatley they get progressivly 2 hours later at starting so as the last one was 10pm till midnight the next is midnight to 2am, 2am-4am and then 4am to 6am so i guess us uk residents will miss those unless your totally hooked.
